This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect when you use pattayascooterrental.com or book a scooter through us in Pattaya, how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over your data.

Information We Collect

When you make a booking or contact us, we collect your name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, rental dates, pickup location and any messages you send us. When you complete a booking inside the Skoot app, we additionally collect a copy of your passport or ID and driving licence (including an International Driving Permit), and payment details processed by our payment providers. When you simply browse the website, we collect anonymous analytics data such as IP address, device type, browser, referrer and pages viewed.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to confirm and manage your scooter rental, communicate with you about your booking, hold your deposit in escrow, handle damage claims, comply with Thai law, prevent fraud, and improve our website and service. We do not sell your personal data.

Third Parties

We share the minimum information needed with: the Skoot app and platform (which holds your refundable deposit in escrow and protects you against unfair damage claims); our partner rental shop in Pattaya that physically hands you the scooter; payment processors that handle card transactions; WhatsApp (Meta) when you message us; and Cloudflare and Google Analytics, which provide hosting, security and anonymous traffic analytics for the website.

Your Rights

You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, at any time by emailing admin@skootnow.com. We will respond within 30 days. We retain booking records for as long as required by Thai accounting and tax law.

Cookies

We use a small number of cookies for analytics and to remember your preferences. You can disable cookies in your browser settings without losing access to the site.
